SEMA Foundation, established in 1994, has an educational and cultural profile, with the mission of providing quality education for Albanian students, regardless of their economic situation. For decades, we have supported thousands of students in their academic journey, creating equal opportunities for education and development.

Currently, SEMA Foundation operates two main branches: Madrasah of Tirana and Madrasah of Elbasan, which function in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Sports as well as the Muslim Community of Albania. The foundation finances and supports the educational development of “H. Mahmud Dashi” in Tirana and “Iliria” in Elbasan, ensuring a high academic standard and an inclusive approach to education.

Although the schools operate with tuition fees, these fees are lower than the actual cost, as a significant portion of expenses is covered by the foundation. Every academic year, hundreds of students receive financial support through scholarships, as well as accommodation and meals in the dormitory for those coming from rural areas.

The high level and quality of education in our schools have gained the trust and appreciation of the Albanian people and beyond. In addition to scientific subjects, students also take Islamic religious courses, creating a unique and successful model where the heart unites with the mind.
